He came as a big surprise, I remember his debut v Lancashire and with a name like Pollock, I thought, "Another Kolpack find" but he was amazing and got us off to some flyers. Eventually, side managed to find his weakness which was to bring on a spinner and watch him get caught very soon. I hope he finds a chance to shine somewhere else.

With his degree from Durham Uni I'm sure doors will open for him if he is seeking a career outside cricket.
He could contue to play for Barnt Green and Herefordshire for another ten years if he wanted.

Always thought he had very limited ability. Seemed a nice lad though who always played when available no matter what whether it be 1st XI, 2's, club cricket, friendlies or whatever and for that I admired him. He never shied away. He'd play in the Blast on a Friday night then open the batting for Barnt Green on a Saturday afternoon.

To have played professional cricket for 10 years, and scored centuries in both red and white ball cricket isn't a bad career, that most people would be proud of.
