replace a batsman who has been very inconsistent as an opener with.... Zak Crawley? 'brave' call

A fantastic win after a poor first innings total. OHD has still got it. Nice to have some early season optimism.
I am much more optimistic than an above middle finish. Momentum is a great thing and getting 1st or 2nd when the break for T20 comes along is ideal. We must go all out for a win (Weather permitting) v Glamorgan and that will be a superb situation as a few of the players will be more rested if they are only playing T20 and bowlers will get a bit of a rest only bowling 4 overs as opposed to 30+. Notts were unfancied last season but got a good start and stayed near the top or on top right until it mattered.

Hee Hee, to be fair not many would be expecting a repeat (almost!) of that 2027 game especially after the last 5 years of grind!
I don't know whether we have enough to challenge for the title, but its shaping up to be an exciting season either way.
Not many would be expecting anyone to see into the future with a 2027 game.
