Wylie?
Wylie?
Hain left the field for a while in the last game (Lintott subbed) came back on but didn’t look comfortable.
With a clutch of spinners let’s hope this out ground is dry and dusty which is quite possible. Also by the time we bowl it may be well used.
I know, was there, thanks. Garton didn't look very comfortable when I watched him on the boundary but he's still in the XI? And Lintott has gone from being out of the 13 to in the XI, whats going on?!
Very harsh on Theo Wylie after his successful debut.
Rumour up that Sam Hain is to be announced as a replacement player at Birmingham Phoenix for Jacob Bethell?
Took a look at the feed. A bit hard to see what's going on but looks like quite hard work out there...

Surely injured?
Yes, very harsh on Wylie as it was harsh on Malik not to play in the first game so that Garton can play. Communication from the club is hopeless. Is Gilchrist injured or had a fall out? What is the situation with Booth?
Arrived, nice ground, well organised as ever. We could learn a lot from Notts
Feels like if they break this partnership it’s more or less game for Notts. Really disappointing communication regarding availability, and really disappointing team selection quite frankly.
If Hain’s been signed up as a replacement for The Hundred then it feels very egregious considering he’s missed this comp two years running to sit on a bench or bat as low as 8.
This XI is a bit of a mess, how have we got to here? I guess we don't know how much is due to injury, availability with other comps and pure selection but it doesn't look great right now.
Just can't understand why you'd "rest" yer captain after one game? Has to be injured or indeed the Hundread. And as for Wylie, he's a 20 year old finger spin all rounder, why rested?!
I dont rate Westwood sorry, certainly not in the white ball competitions and the jury is out on the Championship. If we do poorly in the 50 over stuff I would definitely be reviewing his position.
To balance this I would say the number of injuries we get is horrendous.
Is it the coaches responsibility if a player keeps playing shots that are inappropriate for the game situation or the ball faced?
Surely the players have to take responsibility for their actions?

Yes I get that, was thinking more about team selection, motivation, tactics.
He's rode his luck a touch but this is a good effort from Garton.
Garton previous highest List A score was 38.
Bamber previous highest List A score was 21...
Good job George Garton was selected today.
