A comprehensive win by 105 runs over Worcestershire in the U18 County T20 Cup after our boys racked up the ridiculous 279/8 from their 20 overs.
Omaris Khan made 117 off 39 opening the batting with 15(!) sixes while there were three wickets for James Pidgeon and two each for Joseph Walley and Eddie Miller.
It's our U18's T20 County Cup Group Final today. We play Kent, at Loughborough. 2.30 start. There are two other Cup Groups, yet to complete their games, I don't know if the winners today, play the other Group winners, for the overall title. It's all a bit confusing, but at least our youngsters are in another Final - well done to the Academy Players & Coaches.

I believe this is the overall title, with the best performing side (Warwickshire) facing the winners of the play off between Yorkshire and Kent.

Brilliant win over Glamorgan U18 this week with Eddie Miller taking 6-37 in the fourth innings to go with his second innings 86 opening the batting. Really encouraging performance.

Yes, excellent all round performance from Eddie, but also Jack Pidgeon did well with his left arm spin - 4 for 65 and 3 for 59 (at just 3 runs an over).
The Under 18's comtinue to go from strength to strength in the 3 day game with the Pears.
Jack Pidgeon continuing with a great run of form with his left arm spin - 5 for 69 off 23 overs.
Arjun Nahal with 95 and young Shayaan Abid with 103, before he was run out.

Been keeping an eye on Eddie Miller and Jack Pidgeon. Miller has good control but is short and doesn't really get above the eyeline, its interesting he's been given the chance to open as he probably does need to develop his batting in order to succeed in the pro game. Pidgeon has a good action and is tall which always helps, hes had a good couple of weeks. Both very young, great if they can both come through and be part of the first team squad. Are we as a club good enough to develop these two excellent prospects and give them the requisite opportunities?

I think I saw him play against my mate's kid about 4 years ago, if its who i am thinking of (name rings a bell and it was definitely dorridge) he bowled at quite a lick for his age and stature, beautiful action, both smooth and whippy somehow, it just seemed like he must have came out of the womb bowling
Ayan Khan, Eddie Miller & Jack Pidgeon already taken a wicket apiece this morning. The 3 guys we've highlighted in this thread, could well have a bright future.

Wow, we won by an Innings & 36 runs. Jack P took another 5'fer - giving him a match return of 10 for 136 (off 43 overs)! Eddie Miller pitched in, with 3 for 75 and Ayan, 1 for 14.

Pidgeon looks like he’s already got a skillset which should be quote valuable. Noticed a couple of wickets taken with a well disguised and quicker arm ball. Height and comes over his action nicely. Promising.
