Regarding the Leicestershire points deduction, George Dobell suggests that the Bollywood filming at the ground (that Leicestershire partly blame for the poor pitch preparation) could have happened at Edgbaston; but Warwickshire could afford to turn it down, whereas Leicestershire couldn't.

Interesting to see that the main instigator of Notts second innings collapse was someone with a tenuous connection to Warwickshire. Ari Karvelas, who took the first four wickets, is apparently the new Head of Cricket at Solihull School. If, as seems likely, Notts go onto lose tomorrow, and IF we manage to top the table next weekend, I think he’ll be within his rights to brag to his pupils that he played a part in helping the Bears across the line. That’s still a big if though, and the cidermen might still prevail, though they’ve got a lot of work to do tomorrow first. All of a sudden I find myself urging on Sussex and Yorkshire for some reason….

Still can't get my head around how comprehensive our three wins on the road have been. We have put Somerset and Notts under extreme pressure. Fingers crossed things go our way tomorrow.

The Somerset bloke is insufferable. There are others on the circuit who are just as irritating, Mark Church of Surrey Millionaires being another who gets on my wick.

This is just the cost of getting that feed for free - the home team pays for it.

The Warks commentators aren't dead-in-the-middle neutral either - the T20 team especially. I think they're easy to ignore or not to take seriously.

That Essex old boy and the other one (Kit, I think they called him?) were so incompetent it was actually funny.

Im always to reluctant to criticise the live streams, its so good to be able to follow the games in such a way, particularly the away games that I can't always attend.

The only commentators that really boil my piss are the Somerset ones, the bias/arrogance is just too extreme. It really will be unbearable if they win the title.

They're all great in my opinion maybe I'm a bit of a happy clapper in that regard but I salute them all. I quite like the ones who float in and out from other commitments. I even like Don Topley on comms who I disagree with loads on social media. I think we at Warks in Wilford, Eakin and Taylor genuinely have 3 of the best 10 that are out there mind. Not going to rank them 🤣

All depends what mood I'm in. At times I get slightly annoyed by the excitable nature of the Surrey and Somerset comms teams and at other times I'd prefer a bit more of that out of the more laid back fayre you hear on Yorkshire comms or another sleepy county.

At some point we won't get comms at all 9 grounds it'll be whittled down to 1 or 2 main games and it'll just be occasional updates from the other 7 games so enjoy while we can I say

I think the ECB want the footage so there will always be cams but perhaps without commentary.

I can imagine our commentators annoy other teams for hopelessness rather than bias - Britt, Farrell and Eakin’s breathing although he is knowledgable.

I like Durham and Yorkshire commentary teams.

This Essex bloke was beyond the pale but it looks like he was playing up this week because it was his last game. The cricket seemed an irrelevance to him a lot of the time!

If Somerset lose then I think we will hear less from him, especially going into the last game.
