Ben Cliff reminds me a little of Craig Miles. Relatively average bowler a lot of the time but with a prospensity to be a bit streaky when he’s in the mood and with the right conditions. Similar action.

i felt like you were damning him with faint praise unfairly here but looking at his record.... crikey. To say an 11 wicket match is an outlier in the context of the rest of his career is quite the understatement.

cricinfo has has stats as 7 career wickets in 10 matches/14 innings. not sure how up to date that is but still, honorary Bear Ben Cliff has really pulled it out of the bag.

Sussex need 63 with 9 wickets in hand, come on now, don't **** it up.

That margin was pretty huge in the end, 185 runs. As Paul mentioned earlier, Soms can't get a century stand rearguard all the time and it didn't happen second innings. Top order was bad both games. I guess still in our nature to be nervous about Sussex ticking off these runs...

We’ve just got to take Leics v seriously now. They’ve won this game and have a sense of injustice and a possible appeal to come.

Were nice in form and had two days extra rest.

Big toss to win again although we’ve lost the last three and won!

Presumably they won’t have Gilchrist?
