The final game, starts with Warwickshire having a 11 point lead at the top of the table.

I'd expect that Young for Malik would be the only change from the team at Chelsford.

The club have announced free admission, with pre ordered tickets, for the first day, with general admission being just £15 for the remaining days.

We have an 11 point lead and need a maximum of 14 points to win the Championship!

Leicestershire have a big final to play. Let’s hope they win, celebrate to excess and are severely hung over for the rest of the week.

It's because we care that we get into a state. On Wednesday night I will be struggling to sleep. Unlike 2021 v Somerset, I won't have to take a 'Sickie' to watch or 2012 on the last day v Worcestershire for that matter. Not my fault that the season ends when my bosses never wanted me to have time off. I am worried about the toss, what happens in other games, mainly the Taunton one and hope that Surrey can play like they did 2022-2024 and if the occasion will get to our players seeing as they know exactly what they need whereas in 2021, a lot depended on the Lancashire v Hampshire game.

Guessing that Rehan Ahmed will be missing for this match, given that he's in the England ODI squad. Along with Hamza Shaikh and Nathan Gilchrist, that will enforce at least three changes on the Leic side that recently beat Hants.

Got to imagine that the game will be live on Sky this week if they're arsed enough to show some CC that isn't Surrey?

Assume we want Leicestershire to win today to ensure some (hopefully) sore heads later in the week.

I think these days Sky only show championship cricket at the Oval where the cameras etc are already set up. They even use Surrey commentators.

I don’t think they will spend anything on covering Edgbaston.

The Sky schedule for the coming week doesn’t show any county cricket- just the England ODIs.
