Just today discovered that forum is up and running again, I didn't post much on the old forum but it was always very interesting to read the opinions and views of more knowledgeable bears fans.

Well done and thanks to those who contributed to set up the new board.

I too was very pleased to find this Forum back in April to follow the Bears. Many thanks.
My back story is attending Edgbaston for John Player Sunday league in late 70s.

What a side Warwickshire had then (on paper). Out of my head, Amiss; Jamieson; Kalicharran; Whitehouse?; Rohan Kanhai; Derek Murray? Stephen Rouse; David Brown; RGD ? - Two more can't recall now.
Since those days, a Season Ticket a Lords through 90s (loved Dermot). Went to loads of one day matches & Test Matches. More lately season passes for 20/20.
Blacked 'The Hundred' after following advice on here!
However, having followed 'every' ball bowled on CricInfo for Championship matches for years & years, I have been embarrassed to have never been to a single day of Championship Cricket - ever - until the last match & now having taken early retirement managed the second day of the superb Bears win. Looks like we have a fine young team developing.
Thank you to all contributors - excellent.

Seeing Woakes batting in Antigua made me remember the old Unofficial Forum and wondered if it had been re-born. Wow! Well done Exiled Bear and a thank you from me - it has been missed.
Due to travelling to Edgbaston not being as enjoyable (and affordable!) as it used to be sadly I am no longer a member. This forum is just what I need to keep on following THE team and, of course, voicing an opinion.

Hi Warleybear! I was just thinking the other day that we hadn't seen you, unless you had registered under a different name. Welcome!

Some of you may have noticed that when using the "Quote this post" button underneath a post a lot of undesired, unintelligible text appeared in the quick reply box at the bottom of the topic, instead of the text of the post that you actually wanted to reply to. I've now fixed this, so you can use the "Quote this post" button in addition to the "Full reply" button when quoting someone's post (you will need to add an extra empty line after the quoted post, though). Enjoy!
