I remember the moaning when we kept playing them in the cup games in the 90s. Do we care about them moaning when we win? Of course not !!!

"Let's all have a bowl out
Let's all have a bowl out
la la la la
la la la la"

Thought the spirit between the two teams was first class in fairness. To a man all the Kent players gave Dan Mousley a pat on the back when he holed out on 94 putting the team cause first when he could easily have knocked it around to reach his maiden 100.

Walker made a really interesting point about the bowling. “You can’t bowl like that on test match pitches. We bowled like at Canterbury, but on these pitches they just hammered the same spot again and again and got wickets, whilst we leaked both sides of the pitch”. Just a very interesting point. And it’s true, we struggled when we stopped doing that and started searching for wickets, bowling bouncers, going too straight.

I was unfortunate enough to make the trip down to Canterbury for the T20 quarter final defeat a couple of years back. A section of their fans were awful!

Also when Durham took their final wicket against Worcestershire yesterday, their players celebrated wildly too - as well they might. I think I would be more annoyed if the players didn't celebrate! Players like Hassan Ali bring something extra to the game.

When it comes to wicket celebrations, Hasan Ali is just a novice compared with:

I thought Hasan Ali was a bit over the top to be honest.

Everyone else was fine though. What do.they expect? Three cheers for the losers?

Kent fans are vile, Hampshire too for that matter. I remember that t20 down at Canterbury.

I'm sure there are good and bad amongst all fans. But I do remember the 2018 Royal London Final at Lord's between Kent and Hampshire. Kent supporters gave Sam Northeast a hard time because he had moved from Kent to Hampshire.
To be fair to him, Sam Billings as Kent captain was given the opportunity to comment on this at the press conference afterwards and called out his own supporters. What he said was: " That’s not cricket. It wasn’t fair and I didn’t agree with it."
He went up massively in my estimation for that.

I remember Hampshire fans and their gloating when they beat us in 2 finals, 2005 and 2012 at Lord's. They were awful and if Kent can't stop having a whinge, then they should take a look at their batting which was poor and the fact that they barely created a chance whilst bowling. They didn't deserve to get a draw, the weather took 4 sessions out of the game to give them a hand. As for the celebrations, CC games are hard to win, take it easy for a session and it can just get away from you and at this time of the season if you can escape the weather, then you are lucky so why not jump about a little and enjoy a fine win, it was being frustrated at taking 4 hours to get the last 3 wickets, that made a few of the players leap about in relief.

Yes Gerryshedd, Kent refused to play us that season (1911) and then had the nerve to complain when they lost out to us. Their snobbish attitude in thinking we were inferior to them must have hurt when they got their runners-up medals.

I liked Hassan Ali’s celebrations. Shows that he cares, I think.
