A good morning, but Brook looks in really good nick (less so Bairstow!)

Need to break this partnership else it will turn into another game where we're on top and lose our potential winning position

205, well it looks like good conditions for batting but the pitch looks green. Hope our batsmen dig in a bit and that Davies doesn't try to hit everything he faces.

So far, Ethan Bamber looks like a great signing.

Agreed on Bamber - a young seamer we've been looking for, for years! Just hope he stays fit.

Awful shot selection from Davies there.

Poor decision on Yates just now from the umpire.

We are as brittle as biscuits with this line up.

I would be pretty surprised if we get near Yorks total

Yeah was a given at the start of the season that our batting line up would struggle. Latham will certainly help and Webster could add some quality to

Didn't someone here say we had "the best opening partnership in the championship"?

It would be wonderful if they actually performed to the level of an average opening partnership!

Perhaps it is time to have a look on the loan market to see what top order batsmen are available.

The Yates dismissal looked to be the correct decision from the umpire.

At 150 for 5 I felt like we were nudging ahead, at 160 for 6 I feel like it's in the balance again. Fine lines.

Difficult pitch, feel like if you go full and straight you'll get wickets. Headingley can be like this. Facing the new ball looks a nightmare.

Looks to be evenly balanced. I'm travelling up north tomorrow and going to Headingley on Sunday so I hope there will still be a full day's cricket for me to watch.

Need a good start tomorrow. OHD to dig in and these two to bat for at least half an hour.

That elusive 50 from OHD would be nice
