Dandy is doing really well, particularly so when you consider his relative inexperience at the level.
Outstanding win with so many players contributing. Webster's 85 was brilliant he took charge when the game was in the balance on day2. Barnard brilliant with a bat and ball, so reliable, a proper senior players performance. Bamber continues to impress, not sure I can recall too many people criticising him in fairness, he had a bad game v Notts, not sure anyone's gonna deny that. He looks a guaranteed wicket with the new ball. The openers deserve credit for the way they negotiated last night and then got us going this morning. Mousley's 32 in the first innings was crucial in the context of the game and also in the game situation at the time, Webster couldn't have done what he did had Mousley not steadied us after 47/4. Booth continues to give us a point of difference, i wasn't sure on him I admit. Never said I didn't rate him, just that I wanted to see more, now I have. Zen, looks a player, long way to go for him but once he settled he played some attractive shots, well done to him. Strange pitch that one, bit of up and down, definitely got easier against the older ball. People will point the finger at Yorkshire's batters failing but goodness me they bowled so poorly. We bowled excellently though, whenever it looked like the 3rd innings was getting away from us we just kept fighting back with a wicket or a miserly spell. We ain't gonna win every game but we are gonna fight. Root's wicket was a moment, always felt as though Yorkshire were favourites with at the crease, to get him though was clearly match defining.
2 away games, 2 wins.
Kinda feel like Yorkshire have nudged back in front here at Tea.
Root, the past couple of overs, has looked 'in'.
Test series in the Caribbean starts late June and finishes mid July I believe so 16th sounds about right.
If we're still batting at lunch you'd like to think we've got into a strong position.
At 150 for 5 I felt like we were nudging ahead, at 160 for 6 I feel like it's in the balance again. Fine lines.
Difficult pitch, feel like if you go full and straight you'll get wickets. Headingley can be like this. Facing the new ball looks a nightmare.
Poor decision on Yates just now from the umpire.

I'm disappointed Taz Ali is not included, i thought he bowled well in the first two matches we played.
Slightly worried about Shaikh/Malik/Mousley at 3/4/5, it could well be the reason we decided to bowl first.
I've a feeling Webster will go 4 or 5.
Mousley has to it hit the stumps there, he had ages.
That ton Zen made in the weeks for the 2's must have been tremendous because as has been said previously he's had a bit of a shocker until then.
However, players have looked mediocre in the 2's before before getting a chance in the 1's and its been the making of them.
Pretty deep batting line up...
Fernando was April only, mercifully.
I'd give Simmons a go. He was hardly pulling up any trees last year before his debut and he had a good game then. Did well pre season just gone by all accounts.
Pretty sure Dobell mentioned in a recent article that Booth doesn't qualify until after the 2025 season. I'll go back and take a look if I can find it.
Webster seems like a pretty useful cricketer, he also bowls off spin, he's bowled it in Tests, and he's a decent slip fielder.
*Edit to say: Booth not registered as a local player until next season.
Yeah he's massive, not particularly a quick bowler or anything but definitely a cricketer in form he's had a good 2 or 3 years.
I'd rather back Taz Ali who has shown promise in his 2 appearances this season.
I assume the players will be taking pay cuts if this all happens?
Play due to start at half 3
The umpires disappeared up their own arses. They were appallingly weak.
