I will gladly attend any live cricket that I'm allowed to, whether there are restrictions or not!
Maybe Norwell for Stone if he's fit and Stone needs a rest?
Wow, fantastic! Paced to perfection as well, even though this did mean I was a bit more nervous than I'd like for the last half an hour! I also didn't get much done this afternoon as I couldn't tear myself away from it...
Essex's first defeat in 22 first class matches as well.
Agreed, we have perhaps let things slip slightly and even if we get the last wicket straight away tomorrow I’m not confident that we’ll get the target, but we’ve shown good fight in this match and I feel that the team are definitely heading in the right direction
Yep, good finish to the day. Looked like we were going to concede a 100+ run lead at one point. If we can get close to parity tomorrow then we've got a chance, but I don't fancy us to chase too many with Harmer bowling on a fourth day pitch.

Anyone else finding the audio quality on the stream is very poor? Or have my laptop speakers given up on me?
It is a bit scratchy for me.
Looks like a bad toss to lose, there's no movement at all out there.
I agree, shows great commitment to the cause. Quote from Mark Robinson: “Sibley was ready to go. He had extra padding on his glove and when we needed less than 50 to win he would have gone in, thankfully we didn’t need him. He said he’s never been that nervous in his life”
What a tremendous win! I was playing cricket today in an area with poor mobile signal so only had occasional updates, but I did manage to watch the stream right at the end. So nice to be on the right end of a result like this for a change, and to keep Notts waiting for their next first class win!
Also maybe Liam Norwell could return? Not sure who for though.
Once again from George on Twitter: "Dom Sibley has a small fracture of the second finger on his right hand. If it settles down and the match situation dictates, he could bat in this game. But he may well not. It'll be assessed again in the coming days but you'd think he'd be a doubt for the next 2-3 rounds of games"
A very good session after losing the early wicket. We've been given a fair bit of help from Notts, with at least two dropped catches (both fairly straightforward) and a catch off a no ball!

Sibley has a broken finger so is unlikely to bat
Has that been confirmed? George D on Twitter says that it isn't in plaster but he didn't warm up.
Suspect we let them get 50-75 too many. George Dobell’s report isn’t particularly encouraging regarding Sibley’s injury. Would be a huge blow if he’s not able to bat in this match.
The also only seem to show replays of their own highlights - they've showed replays of the boundaries, but didn't show one of the wicket!
Miles and Norwell are the ones who drop out.
13 man squad:
Rhodes (c), Bresnan, Briggs, Burgess (wk), Hannon-Dalby, Hain, Lamb, Miles, Norwell, Sibley, Stone, Vihari, Yates
Stone and Vihari in for Brookes and Mousley
I’d go for Stone in for Miles, or Norwell if we’re trying to manage his workload. Vihari is a tricky one as there’s no obvious candidate for him to replace. Based solely on the Derbyshire match, maybe Hain, but that would be a bit harsh.
I agree about the lack of ruthlessness, but I also think that the rain came at the worst possible time yesterday. We had them on the ropes with OHD bowling very well, but the rain and early close allowed them to regroup today. I am a bit surprised that Briggs (or even Lamb) didn't bowl today though.
OHD!! 😍

Why not drop Tom Rawlins an email?
I'd hope he'd be open to constructive feedback, and the balls faced data is available.
Good idea, I'll do that.
A poor start to the day today and we've let a good position slip. We should've been looking for at least a 50 run lead. I'm hoping that the fact that Critchley got wickets means that Briggs can play an important role in the second innings.
