In fairness, Brathwaite’s bowling has been pretty good but he’s only had one decent innings so far. I think the run out of Rhodes was the turning point as he was looking good.
We look a lot stronger with Lintott in the side.
Yes, I took advantage of this when we played there in 2018, a real treat.

He hasn’t been playing because he’s injured.
The pictures on Twitter really don’t look good. Hopefully the muppets responsible are banned. I can’t think of something like that happening in the recent past so not sure why it has happened now? I’m sitting in the Hollies on Saturday so hopefully it won’t happen again.

Well given that Vihari has currently scored more runs than Malan, I’d choose him!
Another good win, I feel that this is definitely a game that we’d have lost last season - I think we’d have fallen short at the end. Our batting looks a lot better this year.

1 thing, I would like to see Brookes back ASAP. If that had been closer, I’d be concerned about who’d bowl the death overs. Brookes was so good at that last year.

Superb win, nice to get a huge score for once! Must be one of our highest T20 scores, I can only think of the McCullum 158* match when we scored more.

It’s my first visit to Edgbaston today since 2019 and it’s made me realise just how much I’ve missed a day of county championship cricket! Great last wicket partnership and I agree about the odd field placement - at one point they had both a mid-off and long-off at the same time!
Nice to see the addition of number of balls faced/overs bowled to the live stream - a big improvement in my opinion. Shows that the club do listen to feedback as I emailed Tom Rawlings to suggest it a few weeks ago so if anyone has any suggestions it's worth dropping the club an email!
Do we know for sure that it's the ECB that have prevented Woakes from playing? Given how much he's been away from home/in bubbles over the last year there's a chance that he may have chosen to spend some time with his family.
I don't suppose there's any chance of us trying to go for the win in this game? If Notts win today it will really put the pressure on us to beat them next week.
