A draw suits both teams actually.
Yates and Davies again.....no surprise, relegation beckons.
Looks OK on paper:
Sibley
Yates
Rhodes
Hain
Lamb
Burgess
Yadav
Briggs
Norwell
Siraj
OHD
Does it matter what Leicestershire do as long as we win?
Has Rhodes made the right decision after winning any toss this season?
Our strength with this line up was to bat first as we are a bowler light.
Nice one Kai Smith at the end there! We do have a lot of young talent, especially on the batting side.
Well we should have won then should definitely have lost so I suppose a tie is at least something.
Lamb is in the squad of 13.
Poor start but hopefully that means it's a good bowling day.
Great fightback, be interesting to see what we set as Surrey tend to chase anything.
Not been able to knock over the Surrey tail is going to cost us big time.
So no Yates, Lamb, Miles tomorrow and maybe they should try:
Sibley
Rhodes
Davies
Hain
Benjamin
Mousley
Burgess
McAndrew
Norwell
Wheal
OHD
Brookes and Briggs missing out as neither in form. Davies v lucky to play but no alternatives in squad.
Certainly, to bowl out a team for 165 and still lose by 200 odd runs as seems likely takes some doing......only Surrey next too!
Well there you go.....Davies opening, not working, Benjamin at 3, not working - we deserve to lose this tomorrow.
As 2 of our last games are Surrey and Hants we really need to avoid defeat here and hope we play a lot better against Somerset and Gloucestershire, otherwise we are going down I'm afraid.
Gutted for Hain but 60 lead could be useful and judging by the number of wickets caught behind just need the bowlers supporting OHD to bowl straight!!
Yeah I'm keeping quiet too....
I'm not there so can't see what Rhodes can but this decision seems scarcely believable.
Just win the toss that's all I ask!
Yep we have a very negative and defensive mindset. Has Rhodes lost his captaincy sparkle I wonder or is this coming from the coaches?
