An interesting read - and, as a non-accountant, I even understood most of it!
Yes, sad to see him go but his last day in first-class cricket was a memorable one. The slip catch he took to dismiss Tom Lammonby was a crucial moment in the Somerset innings - a wicket just before lunch.
It may be just me but I couldn't get the link to work.
Weather permitting, I never say no to a visit to Taunton. No doubt Somerset will be looking for early revenge for that end-of-season defeat.
I agree that I think that in the long run he will go back to a more "hands-on" role.
By the way, he is the guest speaker at the Cricket Society Midlands Branch February meeting at Edgbaston - 22nd at 8.00 pm.
The Annual Report has been issued:

It's being reported that Kabir Ali and Jim Troughton are both joining the Yorkshire coaching set-up under Ottis Gibson who is the new Head Coach.
From the Bears site:
"All four of Warwickshire’s home games in the Royal London Cup will be played at Edgbaston."
Our boy done good!
It looks like Notts will be at Portland Road and the Bears will be at Edgbaston, since the two clubs don't appear to agree on where the match will be played.
I agree - many thanks.
Taunton is my second favourite ground (well, maybe equal second with Lord's).
And kudos for using the name of a Somerset legend from the past!
Fixtures out 1 pm tomorrow!
The Cricketer says:" The fixtures for the 2022 domestic season are expected to be announced on Thursday, January 20, 2022."
Update on Olly Stone:

There's also a few other updates at the end, though Mark Robinson seems as vague as we are about the fixtures.
Saw a nice innings from Jacob Bethell today - he looks to be a class act.
It's a bit like when a great fast bowler's bowling - the best place to be is at the non-striker's end. And if the Aussie's are rampant, the best place to be is at home in England. That's probably true not just of Dom but of a few others who didn't go to Australia but may be selected to tour the West Indies and face far lesser bowlers than Cummings and co.
I think I had a dream last night that England had managed a half-century opening partnership. Then I woke up and found that they were all out for 124.
I'm not sure that these events often discover future top level performers but it seems like a worthwhile initiative:
