Thought i'd be enviromentally friendly and recycle this thread from last year.
It looks like Amir Khan, who is currently playing with the SACA rather than our 2nd team will not be offered a new contract. He's the only member of the staff not to be included in the first team squad at any stage this season.
I'm not syre who else is out of contract, but hard decisions need to be made about many of the squad.
Like any workplace with toxic leadership people wouldn't want to be there, the current leadership is toxic.

With his success in all formats of the game, and his selfless character, surely Moeen is the sort of person the club needs, as a player and eventually coach, to share his skills and experience with the younger players?

No doubt the club will announce long extentions for Davies, Yates, Lintott and Sheikh in the next few days, which will further demotivate and unsettle the core or players we should be building the side around.
If he has any respect for the club, which I strongly doubt, Davies will be resigning the captancy before he leaves the ground tonight. He has been a very poor choice as captain.
There does need to be a review of the whole playing staff and recruitment.
Other counties are developing good young players, in all aspects of the game, we are not. If you look at other counties they have good links with the private schools in the county, something we seem not to have. A situation that needs to change.

While he is young, and inexperienced, Jacob Bethall is the best option as a spinner right now.
