Daft decision to send in Hain-he is a slow scorer at the best of times. Briggs should have come in.

Just six days ago it was stated that he had been diagnosed with a groin strain and would not be available for 3 weeks.
Today he is playing for India and doing very well-good recovery that!

Yes,very poor we seem to make a habit of playing badly in 1/4 finals of this competition,we must have lost at least 6 1/4 finals over the years.
I had a feeling it was going to be a bad night when i bought a small can of coca cola on arrival at the ground and was charged £4.30 !

Cannot believe the biased commentary that we are getting on the You Tube. I am not really surprised as over the years, I have heard one-eyed Yorkshire commentators but this bloke is unbelievable, as soon as Benjamin took that catch, he seamed fine with it but as soon as Lyth questioned the catch, so did our 'Home' Commentator.

Must agree. At the end he kept going on about the thrashing they gave us at Edgbaston and would not give us any praise at all.

Yes,i enjoyed my trip to Barnt Green yesterday. We have some outstanding youngsters especially Jacob Bethell.
Thanks for the link-it was very useful.

Let's hope he is an improvement on the last South African player to come here.Peter Malan was very poor up until his final game.

Shameful, idiotic batting from Lamb and Burgess.I have never seen such rubbish ever..

While Sam Hain can be relied upon to get a decent score, his strike rate is too low.Just 86 in the one day games and 127 in t20.He needs to step up a gear, take it up a level. It needs to be 100 and 140 respectively, simple as that really.

Would be difficult for him after so much residency here. I don't know his parents status (ie are they aussie) and also don't know if he has played for the England second team or not. If he's played for the Lions it makes it very hard to change. Perhaps most important l don't know if he wants to do that or not - and he's said before he's more English than Aussie.

Excellent for Briggs.
But in my head that just shows England have no interest in Hain no matter what. Which is bizarre.

Does he still have opportunity to play for Australia ? Must be considering a switch now.
