I interviewed him six years ago when he had just taken his first wicket against Somerset. He was sharing a flat with fellow university student Rob Yates at the time.

Yeah he's done an interesting interview on the Kent website today. Sounds as though he could have carried but he's lost a bit of hunger and desire for the game so he's knocking it on the head. Very much leaving the game on his own terms.

121 first-class wickets in 51 games, Mitchell Santner has 139 in 68 games but his one-day record means he still plays but it just goes to show what priorities some clubs have, I don't see other spinners at Derbyshire actually causing any havoc lately.
