Still looks to be something out there too despite it flattening out somewhat. Tough to know what’s a good score as we’ll be fearful of Brook and Bairstow chasing if the pitch continues to flatten but a remarkable fightback championed by OHD coming back and bowling what has felt a really fired up spell to me. More verve in his celebrations, more on the ball. That in-dipper to get Bairstow was pretty special.

Shame to see Dan throw it away in what is becoming signature style for him. Another 100 waiting for him there. Really impressive knock and catching from Yates.

Important first hour tomorrow against a new ball, but will be good to see just what the pitch is still offering with a hard ball.

Always a bit quieter on here after we've done well...

Fair point ! We were great today.

Great to see OHD back and the Worcester loan seems to have worked a treat. Mouseley needs to find a way of converting good innings to great innings.

Would love a 100 from Hain today and for this wind to calm down !

If we are still batting at tea i reckon we will have around 500 on the board by then. The position we are in at the moment we have got to be looking at something around that total.

I do hope we bat them out the game - 500 lead by tea would be perfect. Even with tomorrow's forecast there should be enough overs to get a deserved win.

Disappointed that Webster is out, but at 300-4 we're still in a great position.

Not there today. Obviously the wicket's flattened out as bit and our lads are on top form but have the bowlers been getting any movement off the pitch?

Slight hint of uneven. Very difficult to say though as Yorkshire went very much into defence mode and then subsequently just went through the motions . Not a lot of pace in it.

Should we declare now and give us a chance of getting the wickets given the possibility of rain tomorrow.?

Why stop at three?

What an all round disaster. Dropped Brook and two fielders off injured. Could be a crucial moment we look back on at the end of the game

Also just watched the Revis edge delivery back and very much looks like a nick. Both these two should be out

Favourite type of day..Warwickshire on top and get to watch Hain bat most of the day.

I was worried about tomorrow's forecast but it has improved and a 40% chance of rain at 11pm is the worst it gets from what the Met Office says. I still think the declaration was very late in coming as a lot of overs that were worth 2-3 an over, just made it look like batting practice. 450 was a lot more than Yorkshire could ever get so we wasted a bit of time and could have won by tonight had the same scenario occurred with the first 5 wickets. Another great day, everything has gone right in this game since we were 117-9 on the first day. An hour should hopefully do this tomorrow.

They may have had better days - but I doubt there are many! All the partnerships exceeded 50 except for the unbeaten 7th and that was 46!!! Let's hope the weather allows us to finish them off tomorrow.

I understand why the declaration was when it was. They obviously felt the wicket was very good while batting, we've seen how it can flatten out on day 4 and Brook/Bairstow have the potential to chase quickly. Quite close up until tea they would still have been chasing at less than 4 an over.
