Some of the posts from the bedwetters on here on day 1 and early day 2 are hilarious!

The Bears top of the table at the moment. Somerset could overtake them; but Glamorgan need just 14 more to beat them with three wickets to fall. An exciting finish in prospect - and everyone's gone to have a cup of tea!

After the Essex game I (greedily) asked for an emphatic victory for once and boy did they deliver. I'm gonna greedily ask for me while the team must be high of confidence, and if a couple of batsmen can find form we'll be a complete outfit.

Notts will overtake us and Surrey will be just behind but this is a fantastic position to be in at this stage given we've already played both of them.

Let's hope the weather holds for next week's game and if we win that then we are serious title contenders.

What a brilliant win that is, the third innings was crucial but our bowling performance was superb. Great stuff from OHD & Bamber, Thompson too for chipping in with 5 wickets. Even more impressive when you think we were without Woakes, Barker & Gilchrist, with Booth only bowling 3 overs as well. The next game against Glamorgan should be exciting, they've just had a great win over Somerset and are only 5 points behind us so looking forward to that one.

Title credentials. A team trending in the right direction and resilient against whatever match situation or availability issue presents itself. Ethan Bamber goes from strength to strength in a Warwickshire shirt, OHD back at his rhythmical and consistent best, Sam Hain being Sam Hain and Yates gobbling it all up in the cordon.

Back it up against Glamorgan and we’ll be sitting very smartly going into the T20 block.
