Same old batting weaknesses. This really needs to be addressed. What is the point of Holder? Another poor overseas signing. Who is making the decisions on these signings?

It's only a couple of hours ago you were saying that umpiring had probably cost us any chance of the title.

It probably has, especially with Notts winning again. We're now relying on other results going our way, as well as winning both our matches, never mind getting lucky the weather as well. But it's down to two games, and to have a chance at that point is all we could ask for at the start of the season really. I think I'd downgrade it from "decent chance" to "chance" given the Notts result though.

Would be a bit weird if both us and Notts win our last 2 matches meaning Notts win the championship and then we complete a treble over Notts by beating them again at Lord's in the BWT Final. Think I'd take that from this point mind would be something to take out of the season

A thought, the game may have had a very different result if we'd had any of our top four seam bowlers available.
I'm sure any combination of Chris Woakes, Olly Stone, Henry Brookes and OHD would have perfromed better with the bat this afternoon, regardless of what they did when bowling.
Not many sides could cope with losing four players from a key position.
