Fantastic win. Huge effort, they all put so much into that. They've earned the day off.
Epic innings from Yates. Played the spin really well I thought, Qadri looked quite threatening at times. Great to see Rob get some big runs with the white Bear on his helmet.
Solid contributions from all the batters. Brookes is having a decent all round game.
If we can nip a couple out early we might win today.
Grant Stewart has done this to a few sides down the years, he is dangerous.
Good first session thus far.
Is this the Kookaburra again?
Im not sure how we line up here.
Think Anderson definitely comes in on his home ground.
Not having Nathan Lyon is a real problem for Aus. If it doesn't come through Cummins or Starc it doesn't come.
Nice to see Woakes get a few poles.
Back to red ball
The Big Bash is a skip fire but it's system of rewarding the best performing sides is entirely sensible.
Hose and Burgess played in previous seasons and previous quarter finals losses so what are you saying here averages aside? What are their strike rates like?
I think when you consider the international call ups we've had to contend with and then injuries I think it's been a great effort to make the quarter finals.
I'll make more comment on tonight's game later, my mind is scrambled!
Some win if they pull this off
Terrible shame all this. Starting to feel like football.
Don't think he'd be available as he never played in the group stages for us. I could be wrong though.
Hopefully he's not out too long.
Another win, delighted to see Brookes have a good game, he's struggled at times but some of the criticism he's had has been a bit over the top.
Yates continues his form, 5 half centuries now is it?
Drakes looks lively and Lintott seems to have gotten his control back now.
A word for Ethan Brookes fielding too, so committed.
I so hope that isn't a finger break for Dan
Might we rest a couple of guys tomorrow?
Jake Lintott can genuinely bat. Proper shots with good timing, Sunday and today. Remarkable win.
This is frustrating as Yates was dragging us back into it.
Well ahead of the required run rate here...
