Bears women are in the Women’s Blast final having just won their semi-final.

They play Surrey women at 4:30pm at the Oval.

Being shown on Sky Sports Mix.

So we are currently playing with a kookaburra ball in the hopes that players who may one day play in the Ashes in Australia get used to it. Meanwhile, the players who are actually going to Australia in the winter are playing with a Dukes ball.

Muddled thinking?

21 dot balls in the first 5 overs of the power play

To captain England U19’s in the upcoming youth tests against India.

The predicted rain arrived just as the Durham batters came out. Looks dark and brooding at the moment. 60 mins till we start losing overs.

2 points for an abandoned game.

We are bowling first.

Miles and Lintott come in for Gleeson and Moeen.

We’ve won the toss and bowl first.

Our next 3 games are against teams directly above us in the table - Leicestershire, Durham & Lancs. I reckon we need to win at least two of these matches to stay in touch with the top 4., a couple of defeats and we could be out of it. As for the team, i think we'll stick with the 11 who beat Worcs a couple of weeks ago.

I think we’ll add Gleeson and maybe Moeen?

Gleeson, yes, Moeen has departed 'our shores'.

He’s named in the squad!

Rob Key has said that the players not picked to play the second test would be released to play the last 2 days of the CC.

So we could have Bethell but they would have Archer.
