Interesting to see Latham with the gloves.

It looks as though Stuart Cain is on the case - he says:
"We have been unlucky with injuries and the weather but, ultimately, others have been through the same, and I can see why some will say these are just excuses," Stuart Cain, the Warwickshire CEO, told The Cricketer. "We need to develop a squad and level of resilience that can manage what the season throws at us. We've not performed to the standards we set ourselves."Sounds like a load of waffle.
In the bear pit of AGMs in years gone by Cain might have been in some jeopardy as per whatever the Chairman is called!
These days they think they are above it all and not accountable.
They’ve done some good things like the games at Rugby School but I do wonder if we ever recovered from the loss of Farbrace!
Look what Farby has done at Sussex. Bottom feeders in Div 2 when he took over, now 2 seasons later after some astute signings of domestic and overseas players they are promoted to Div 1 and will probably finish as champions next week.
I would think it’s difficult to gee yourself up for these final games. The end of a long season, nothing riding on the outcome, one man and his dog in the stands and not making Blast finals day will all have taken there toll on any enthusiasm the players may have had.
We’ve won the toss and bowl first.

There are a lot of justifiably angry supporters around, a look at the Bears twitter feed will tell you everything you need to know about how they are feeling. Very similar to the Lancs supporters after their drubbing by Sussex.
A team full of experience and prodigious talent to bottle it like that is inexcusable. Only needed 2 batters to stay focused to knock off those runs at under 7 an over.
Personally I don’t think the management or recruitment are to blame, there are times when each individual player needs to take a hard look at themselves and be accountable.
