Pennington has been released from the 16.4 to play for Notts. The rule is if you haven’t been selected after 2 games you can negotiate a release.

I wonder if Barnard or Mousley might play for us tomorrow?

Doesn’t help that the batting coach will have his mind on other things and the bowling coach is away with the 16.4.

280 is a competitive total. It’s the bowling that’s letting us down, only one wicket between our top two bowlers after 34 overs between them.

It’s the wickets column that’s the most concerning.
