16 year old OB bowler Eddie Miller takes 4 SACA wickets in the first innings.

Playing in the 4 day friendly v SACA

Good grief!

I’ll be honest I thought we would bottle it but fair play to Webster and Mouse.

The women’s team have also lost 5 from 5 so as a club it’s played 10 lost 10.

Need to get up to at least 150 to have any hope of defending.

Notts win the toss and elect to bowl

So he's only gonna play the 3rd Lions game?

Looks that way.

Interesting stat. Jacob Bethell averages 8.7 in the first innings of a Test match and 84 in the second.

Mousley named in the ODI squad but James Coles named as captain.

Its interesting to see players who have been playing in the Blast using the seconds to have extra time in the middle. Northants had a few doing that, Worcester had a couple in there, OHD and Kai for the Bears... others (Davies for one) are conspicuous by their absence.

Do players get a choice as to whether they play? Surely if you’re on the team sheet you play otherwise you don’t. It’s the coach who chooses the team.

Take Lynn out of their side and I don't think they have much batting but we fed them too many runs with short rubbish too often. A few tighter overs early on and we might have had enough to win.

Which is where Gleeson is so good. IPL has finished so he should be back for Fridays game away to Notts.

Should have Gleeson back for Fridays game away to Notts.

Meanwhile Lintott has 3 Surrey wickets for 19 off his 4 overs.

Maybe a couple of games in the 2’s will help Davies find his form. He’s fallen off a long way from 2nd highest run scorer and captain last year.
It’s good to see that no one is too big to be dropped.

We’ve won the toss and bat first.

This is being shown live on Sky 2:30pm start.
