Presumably he had a return flight booked and wasn't able to extend his stay in the uk.
Interestingly both Booth & Lintott played in the second team game today.

Somerset completed a 7 wicket victory this morning with Will Smeed and Josh Thomas batting through.
Some of the fielding when he was bowling wasn't great, at least two of the fours should have been cut off.
Somerset need another 52 to win, with 7 wickets left, on the final day.
It looks like booth has an injury as he pnly bowled 4 overs in the first innings, and not at all in the second. He did get a good 50 when he batted.
Thought i'd be enviromentally friendly and recycle this thread from last year.
It looks like Amir Khan, who is currently playing with the SACA rather than our 2nd team will not be offered a new contract. He's the only member of the staff not to be included in the first team squad at any stage this season.
I'm not syre who else is out of contract, but hard decisions need to be made about many of the squad.
Like any workplace with toxic leadership people wouldn't want to be there, the current leadership is toxic.
I must remember
"Our opening partnerships have improved vastly."
Negative or Realistic?
Perhaps some of the supporters are not happy about the acceptance, and indeed encouragement, of mediocrity from Robinson and others in management.
With his success in all formats of the game, and his selfless character, surely Moeen is the sort of person the club needs, as a player and eventually coach, to share his skills and experience with the younger players?

No doubt the club will announce long extentions for Davies, Yates, Lintott and Sheikh in the next few days, which will further demotivate and unsettle the core or players we should be building the side around.
If he has any respect for the club, which I strongly doubt, Davies will be resigning the captancy before he leaves the ground tonight. He has been a very poor choice as captain.
There does need to be a review of the whole playing staff and recruitment.
Other counties are developing good young players, in all aspects of the game, we are not. If you look at other counties they have good links with the private schools in the county, something we seem not to have. A situation that needs to change.
Do not blame Chris Benjamin for this defeat, Robinson, in all forms of the game has prefered mediocre players, he's made a very bad choice of captain and has made good players leave the club, and made very poor signings, especially of overseas players.
A new head coach is needed, as well as a thorough review of the playing staff and recruitment policy.
ECB live score link is showing Chris Benjamin has the keepers gloves tonight.
Barnard playing and as captain would strengthen the side.
It will be an emotional time for Will, & his partner. Not only is he changing his job, but they are having to move to a different part of the country, will all the stresses of moving house and setting up a new home.
One thing i've noticed is that, unlike several other counties, including Glous, Worcs, Glam and Somerset, we don't seem to get many players from the local private schools with good cricket programs.
With Danny Brigs losing form, do we have a suitable "specialist spinner? Taz Ali is not ready for a four day game, and Lintott has never impressed when he played red ball games before.
While he is young, and inexperienced, Jacob Bethall is the best option as a spinner right now.
1) he's signed a legally binding contract with Durham
2) For various reasons he's decided his future will be better away from Warwickshire.
