Jamal is added to the squad otherwise unchanged.

This competition is turning into a farce. So many games either lost or shortened due to the weather. I’ve lost all interest in it now.

Our 3 spinners returned figures of 10-0-61-7

We’ve won the toss and elected to bowl.

Davies (c,wk)
Yates
Hain
Mousley
Bethell

And OHD's bowling not required. I'd find it hard to predict the winner of a game between that side and the so-called first XI.

I was thinking the same thing. (I wish there was a ‘like’ option on this messageboard)

Wylie 50 from 21

Taz named with Theo Wylie in the England U19 ODI squad to face a touring Sri Lanka youth side at the end of the month.

We're down to 5th in the table now, and our next two fixtures are against the two teams directly above us - Yorkshire & Derbyshire.

Against Yorkshire on Friday i would go with: Davies, Yates, Barnard, Hain, Bethell, Burgess, Garton, Briggs, Mles, Lintott & Gleeson.

Yes I’d go with that, looks a much more balanced side.

25 from Jamal’s first over, gulp!

Bit of weather about, got to go hard from the off to keep ahead of the DLS score.

Bar Gleeson it’s been a bit ordinary

We’ve won the toss and bowl first.

Davies (c,wk)
Yates

Mousley

H Ali

Unchanged squad.

We’ve won the toss and bat first. Same team.

An open statement from Woaksey

The last month has been the most challenging of my life when unfortunately my Dad passed away at the beginning of May. I’ve spent the last few weeks with the people most important to me, my family. We’re all obviously grieving and trying to get through what is undoubtedly the hardest moment of our lives. It’s at times like this that perspective is the greatest.

I will be back playing cricket for Warwickshire, who my Dad loved dearly, when the time is right for me and my family. I know playing cricket for Warwickshire and England made my Dad incredibly proud. I look forward to doing that again in the near future.
