A key game to see if the side can bounce back after defeat at Durham.
One positive change to the side will be the first apearance of Pieter Mallan, which will strengthen the batting.
Possibly a return for Stone too.
Worcestershire have not yet won a game, and conceded over 560 runs in the first innings of their game with Essex.

What do people expect from this game? any team changes etc?
Sibley is still out,
Can Stone play 3 games in a row?
Any other changes?

Sadly Malan won't be available until the Worcestershire game the following week.

Sadly, still no spectators allowed at Portland Road.

I hope Chris Woakes & Moeen are getting on the first possible flight home.

Not only for their own safety, but for the effect their being out their will have on their families.

I'd also expect the ECB to have to change the planned program of international cricket this season.

Our second team have a fifty over one day friendly v Cardiff Uni.
As this is played on a club ground, it may not be subject to the restrictions on Spectators there are at Edgbaston & Portland Road.

Thought I'd start the thread for the Essex game.

Can we build on the win at Trent Bridge?
What team changes do you expect to see?

Former Warwickshire captain Heath Streak has been given an eight year ban.

Sadly the criminals behind this are still able to carry on their activities, and further proof that T20 leagues are affected by match fixing and other corrupt activities.

Having seen the sides selected by various current and past players over the winter, I thought about the best xi made up of the overseas players we've had at Warwickshire over the years.

I came up with this side.

A decent pair of wicket keepers and a very strong bowling attack.

1 Kumar S
2 Derryck Murray
3 Lara
4 Kanhai
5 Kalli
6 Moody/McMillan
7 Polly
8 Streak
9 AD
10 Jeets

I'd be interested to hear the views of others.
